Once again, Nivea have completely stolen my heart. After falling head over heels for their Express Hydration Primer, I was intrigued to discover whether the rest of the essentials range lived up to its high standards. And it undoubtedly did. After purchasing this in Boots a mere few days ago, my usage of it has been somewhat excessive.

For a start, the packaging alone is rather sophisticated, compressed into a wonderfully weighted midnight-blue glass pot. The moisturiser itself fits this sophistication perfectly, with a luxuriously creamy texture to soothe and nourish the skin. Although the moisturiser does have a fairly thick formula, it does eventually absorb thoroughly into the skin, and the beautifully smooth result achieved is well worth the slightly lengthy absorption time period. Like the primer, this moisturiser is spectacularly hydrating due the addition of Hydra IQ, which aids in promoting naturally induced moisture flow between skin cells.
